the location was great with easy access to public transport like buses, trams, and metro (it made getting around quite simple). i found the views from the hotel terrace, where breakfast and the pool are located, really special.
the internet was a little spotty at times (it wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable).

the breakfast had a lot of options, including both traditional turkish meals and more familiar food. it was suitable for everyone.
The windows in my room leaked cold air. it was also very noisy. i had to put clothes all over the window to block the wind. the mattress in my double room was split. The bed frame would not hold it together.

The staff was helpful. The pool was agreeable.
The hotel sits atop a very steep hill. Multiple taxis refused to drive up there. This location presents a problem for those with mobility issues. My 70-year-old mother has a new knee. She barely managed to ascend it..

i loved the terrace view it showed golden horn galata tower and eminonu i found it great for sundowners the turkish breakfast was also really good i thought the pool gave a refreshing experience. the staff was super kind they also accommodated my request for a change of room to a lower floor because my friend can't walk up stairs so well it was like home
i found the location a bit challenging the roads were steep and taxis sometimes didn't come directly to the hotel this meant some tiring walks the hotel is on a hill

i thought the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from each morning i really enjoyed trying the local pastries and fresh fruit it was a great way to start the day before exploring.

the hotel is close to many main attractions and public transport i walked to several historical sites and found it easy to get around i felt safe exploring the neighborhood during the day and night it was very central.

i really enjoyed my stay. the staff was super helpful arranging taxis and teas for me. tamar at the desk was very kind. the pool also had amazing views, it was a real treat to swim there.
the steep hill to the hotel wasn't ideal, specially with luggages.
